It can be overwhelming to untangle the web of both internal and external experiences that have led you to the place you’re in, especially the ones you have no control over. You may feel powerless, hopeless, and confused about how to move forward.
I utilize a holistic and individualistic approach in order to understand you as a whole and meet you where you are. I strongly believe we are the result of our environment and the people around us and my role is to understand how these have shaped you into the person you’ve become. Once we identify how culture, society, and our history has formed our inner world then we can start to unlearn some of our thoughts and beliefs that have become unhealthy for us. Therapy is a collaborative process where we will work together to identify your strengths and common pitfalls in order to take back control over your own life.
I strive to create a compassionate, non judgemental, and safe environment where you will feel seen and heard. I bring a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive approach to the work we do together. Our work will be client-centred, where you will be supported and slightly challenged, to allow for maximum personal growth. Your well-being is my priority and you will be treated as such. Together, we will use evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic therapy and tailor them to suit your own personal problems, needs, and strengths.
At Therapy Villa, I am a Clinical Therapist providing therapy under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych. Outside of my work, I enjoy learning new hobbies and keeping myself as busy as possible. I’m a dance teacher, own a small business, and this year I’ve been learning how to DJ. I love watching horror movies (with my cat), thrifting, and taking naps when I can find the time.

Sometimes starting therapy can feel overwhelming. You might wonder if it will really help, or feel like you need to have it all figured out before you even begin, or struggle to see a clear way forward. My role is to meet you exactly where you are.
Taking a holistic and individualized approach, I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. Together, we’ll create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable exploring what’s been holding you back and begin to move forward with greater ease and confidence.
Therapy isn’t just a space to talk - it’s a space for you to breathe, to feel seen, and to find your way back to yourself. My passion lies in empowering you to navigate life’s turning points with compassion, clarity, and strength. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they move through uncertainty toward healing and growth.
Having lived and practiced in both India and Canada, I understand how your culture, identity, and life transitions shape the way you see yourself and the world around you. I bring a multicultural and trauma-informed lens to our work together, so you feel understood and supported in ways that honour your unique story.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in your strengths. Depending on what feels right for you, I may integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Gottman Method and other trauma-informed and relational techniques to support meaningful, lasting change.
While I focus on practical, solution-oriented work, I believe you already carry many of your own answers. My role is to help you uncover them; to bring acceptance, clarity, and gentle support as you turn insight into meaningful action.
I also recognize that trauma doesn’t just live in the past - it can weave itself into your body, your relationships, and the way you see yourself. Therapy offers a soft, steady space to begin untangling that impact, so you can rebuild a sense of safety, connection, and wholeness. My practice is queer-affirming, inclusive, and rooted in deep respect for every identity and lived experience.
I am registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) as a Psychological Associate under supervised practice. At Therapy Villa, I provide assessment and therapy under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych and Ms. Susan Schafer, M.A., C.Psych.

More Than Just My Work…
Outside of my clinical work, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen baking something sweet because therapy isn’t the only place where magic happens. I’ve been powerlifting since college, it’s my not-so-secret way of staying grounded (and occasionally impressing friends with my deadlifts). I love meeting new people, swapping stories, and I’m always game to try something new whether it’s a bold cuisine, a random fun fact, or a hidden corner of the city waiting to be explored.

One thing I’ve learned throughout my practice is how easy it is to get stuck in certain patterns, such as ways of thinking, feeling, or reacting that may have once helped you cope, but now leave you feeling disconnected from who “YOU” really want to be. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you can make sense of your unique experiences, understand where those patterns come from, and begin the work of processing them. Together, we’ll explore what it means for you to feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
My role is to walk alongside you in this therapeutic process. Whether you’re dealing with overthinking, relationship struggles, self-esteem challenges, need support on your self-growth journey, or that general sense of being stuck, I tailor my approach to you and your needs. My approach to therapy is integrative and in my work with adolescents and adults, I often draw from CBT, IFS, EFT, and psychodynamic approaches, but more than any specific method, what matters most to me is building a space where you feel heard and understood.
I’m registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists and at Therapy Villa, I provide services under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych.
I know change isn’t always easy, but it is possible. And you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to support you on your journey. When you feel ready, I’d love to connect. Let’s set up a free 20-minute consultation to see if working together feels like the right fit for you.

More Than Just My Work…
Outside of my work, I’m someone who truly values experiences. Whether that’s exploring new places, spending time with friends, or simply enjoying moments with my pet. I’m drawn to creativity and self-expression, and I love getting behind a camera to capture life through photography and videography. These moments help me stay grounded, inspired, and connected to the world in a way that fuels both my personal life and the work I do with others.

Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I want you to know, you don’t have to go through this alone. Trauma can leave deep imprints, shaping the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. But healing is possible. My work is rooted in the belief that no matter what you’ve been through, you have the capacity to reclaim your sense of safety, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life of meaning and fulfillment.
For years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals who have faced significant adversity, helping them process emotional wounds, restore their sense of control, and cultivate resilience. My passion lies in trauma therapy, and I have experience working with survivors of childhood abuse, sexual violence, motor vehicle accidents, and refugee displacement. I understand that trauma is not just about the events themselves but about how they shape your body, mind, and nervous system. Healing is not about forgetting the past, it’s about reclaiming your power and rewriting your story on your terms.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Polyvagal Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and reestablish an inner sense of safety. I also incorporate mind-body work utilizing somatic and mindfulness-based practices with an understanding that trauma isn’t just something we remember; it is something we carry in our bodies. Our work together will focus on gently processing your experiences at a pace that feels right for you and allows you to restore balance and self-trust.
For those struggling with relationship difficulties, I use Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Attachment-Based Approaches to help individuals and couples understand attachment patterns, strengthen emotional connections, and break free from cycles of conflict and disconnection. Whether you’re healing from past relational wounds or seeking healthier relationships in the present, our work will focus on deepening self-awareness and fostering meaningful change.
I hold a Master of Psychology (MPsy) from Adler Graduate Professional School and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from SNDT University, Mumbai. I have experience working with diverse populations providing psychological assessment, consultation and intervention services at adult private practice and hospital settings addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and chronic illness.
At Therapy Villa, I provide services under the supervision of Ms. Niyati Gandhi, M.A., C.Psych. I’m also on the path to registering as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
I am committed to providing a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to live a life that reflects your most authentic self. I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and transformation. If you’re ready to take that first step, I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation to see if we’re the right fit for each other.

When life starts to shift or change, sometimes we can feel like there is no solid ground beneath our feet. Therapy can be an intimidating resource to approach, but it can truly allow us to learn about the strengths we already possess and how to better utilize them to better ourselves and reach our goals. I work from a base of empathy and compassion with the goal of helping people improve their own lives. I hope to help you realize your goals and build a plan to reach them.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply passionate about working with marginalized and specialized communities, such as students, adults with special needs, and the LGBTQ+ community. I have experience as an individual counsellor, working in administration with employee assistance programs, and providing crisis support through a nation-wide call line.
I take an integrative approach to working with adults, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Approaches, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-focused methods, Person-Centred therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in my clinical practice. I seek in all situations to learn about you and tailor our plan together to best support your individual needs.
